The signal icon will show the strength between the camera and HomeBase.
In most cases, the camera can be placed from the HomeBase within 30ft (for a stronger signal). The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of HomeBase.
If you have a poor signal or no signal displayed:
1. Please try moving your HomeBase closer to the camera if possible.
2. Please try to make sure there are no obstacles around HomeBase.
3. HomeBase will support a Wi-Fi connection via your router. Please update your Eufy app to the latest version, then set HomeBase to Wi-Fi in the Side menu > My Devices > Select HomeBase > HomeBase Settings > Connection. Learn more from Connect the HomeBase 2 to Wi-fi.
If you want to add an additional Range Extender to enhance the signal effect, we suggest placing it between HomeBase and your router. We recommend you don’t place the Range Extender between HomeBase and the camera.
