The Omni C30 Edge uses front and side line-laser obstacle avoidance systems to detect common objects such as shoes, toys, and trash bins. The system has a comprehensive obstacle avoidance rate target of 80% or higher.
However, uncommon small objects, such as custom door stoppers, building block pieces, and jewelry, may have very limited point-cloud features and can be difficult for the robot to detect. The line-laser system may not reliably recognize objects with a diameter of less than 3 mm. This is a common limitation of current obstacle detection technology.

Before starting a cleaning cycle, remove small toys, building block pieces, jewelry, and other small objects from the floor. This is the most reliable way to prevent the Omni C30 Edge from encountering objects that may be difficult to detect.

Set a No-Go Zone for Fixed Door Stoppers in the eufy App
If a door stopper is permanently installed in a fixed location, set a no-go zone around the area in the eufy app. The Omni C30 Edge will avoid the designated area during future cleaning cycles.
