The camera uses a microSD card (not included) to store video recordings and continuous recordings.

The microSD card must be formatted in the eufy Security app before use.

Video recordings stored on the card are encrypted using AES-128-bit bank-level encryption to ensure privacy and security during video storage and transmission.

Local storage does not affect your ability to view footage remotely or watch recorded events in the eufy Security app.
Cloud Storage (Optional)

For an additional layer of security, you can back up your video recordings to eufy Cloud storage.

Cloud storage provides remote access to your video recordings with additional enhanced protection.

To use eufy Cloud storage, it is required to have an active eufy Cloud subscription.
