The open environment wireless transmission distance for our baby monitor can reach up to 460 feet / 140 meters.
The signal between the monitor and the camera will be decreased if there are walls between them and if there is interference from electronic devices.
Here are some tips for you when there is a poor signal between monitor and camera.
1. Reset the monitor by poking the small hole behind the monitor. For some baby monitor models, the RESET button is on the back of the monitor stand.
2. Remove the camera and re-pair it to the monitor.
3. Move the monitor closer to the camera.
4. Try to remove electronic devices that could cause signal interference between the camera and the monitor, such as mobile phones, stereos, Bluetooth headsets, etc.
5. Update the firmware version of your camera and monitor. Please download the firmware v3.4.0 and follow the firmware update tutorial video.
Note:
1. The baby monitor's cables don't support data transfer, please use other USB cables to update the firmware.
2. Update both the monitor and camera(s), the system functions properly only when all devices are on the same firmware version.
