To share your eufy security devices with your families or guests.
You've probably tried a lot already, but please confirm you've followed these steps to share the doorbell camera/cameras:
1. Make sure the person you want to share it with has downloaded the eufy App and registered a new account with his/her Email address. Here is how to sign up for a eufy account.
2. Invite the person to monitor the doorbell camera/cameras via the following step:
Share Home: App home page > Avatar > Share Devices > Share Home > Invite > his/her Email address.
Share Device: App home page > Avatar > Share Devices > Invite > Admin/Guest > Associated device > his/her Email address.
Note:
- There are two kinds of share approaches in the new eufy app version (v4.0 or above): Share Home & Share Device
- For some devices, you are able to share the device directly from the page of product settings.
- make sure there is no space when you enter the email address
3. After you send the invitation, the person will get a notification in his/her eufy App, then he/she can accept the invitation.
Note:
1. At eufy's current stage it's only possible to add up to five shared accounts. Only the main account with devices set up has the right to share devices.
2. If the person you want to invite only receives the invitation email but no notification in his/her App, please email us and provide the following information: main account, shared account, and please make sure to turn off the 2FA for the shared account.
3. If the invitation fails, please make sure the shared account is in the same login environment as your main account. You can find the main account's login environment and adjust the login environment of the shared account by tapping the three-lined button in the upper-left corner of the App' Device tab and going to Settings > Region.
